Natural Oil Solutions for an Awesome Beard: ITCHINESS: Short hairs can curl back and irritate the skin. With longer beards there may be an underlying skin condition. Solution: (a) Lubricate to reduce friction/irritation (b) Soothe with Aloe Vera (c) Soften the hairs with Jojoba for increased flexibility. DRY/ BRITTLE HAIRS: Dehydration of hairs, often due to harsh external factors such as swimming pools, extreme environments, strong soaps, or maybe an underlying skin condition. Solution: (a) Moisturize with Jojoba (b) Balance skin's natural oil composition with Jojoba (c) Use only mild soaps and shampoos occasionally. DANDRUFF("BEARDRUFF"): Typically due to a particular yeast in the underlying skin and often worsened by very cold weather. Solution: (a) Enjoy the healing properties of Aloe Vera and Vitamin E in your beard oil. Rub into the underlying skin.
